Stimpy Lockjaw was formed when 4 like-minded SUNY Purchase jazz students got together to play each others original music. The band is Kevin Theodore on Keys, Nick Llerandi on guitar, Zach Marks on drums, and Michael Forzano on bass.

Stimpy Lockjaw is a group whose sound is a melding of many idioms. They like to play serious music as well as music just to have fun and improvise. Its hard to classify the music to one category as it fits in the improvisatory nature of jazz, bashing sounds of metal, the groove and pocket of funk, hip-hop, and drum 'n bass, which gives the band a wide appeal to a large audience. The band just recently recorded their first 4-track all-original demo which can be obtained through contacting the band or can be listened to directly from the myspace page(www.myspace.com/stimpylockjaw). The band is actively promoting their music and will be playing out soon so stay tuned!
