The Ramblin Dawgs formed in late 2007, making waves throughout the tr-state area with their energetic rock driven modern blues performances. Currently driven by Carlos “C-Dawg” DC’s soulful vocals and guitar playing, Raul DC’s thunderous drumming, Charlie Sarceceno’s screaming Hammond Organ, and Jonas Landau’s rock solid grooves on bass, the buzz continues in 2009 as the band performs relentlessly. As a result, a broad demographic of music lovers can be counted as part of the band’s fan club, known as the “Dawg Pound.” Thirst for new yet familiar music is quenched by the band's originality and passion when performing re-worked classics as well as self penned songs to packed venues.

In January 2009, the Ramblin Dawgs released a three original song CD that was engineered and co-produced by Dan Skye (Blues Traveler, Bon Jovi). Exhibiting a classic rock and blues influence with an original modern twist, the songs have garnered an overwhelming electropositive response by their fan base, "The Dawg Pound," which continue to grow numerically and geographically as excitement over the CD’s release continues its momentum. As a result, the band’s MySpace has blown up with over 90,000 views, 25,000 Friends, 80,000 song plays and 3000 comments.

In October, the Band pre-released “Shoot Em Up,” an 11 song rock and blues CD containing 10 original songs and the band’s up beat rendition of BB King’s “Thrill is Gone.” The CD can be found on I-Tunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, CDBaby, Stores near you and at www.ramblindawgs.com

If you like Clapton, BB King, Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, Santana, Gary Moore, Robert Cray, Bad Company, Rock or Blues, and tired of hearing the same old music, you’ll love the Ramblin Dawgs.
