Scattered Limbs
Scattered Limbs revolves around the brothers Kenny and Robert Leonardo and their respective loves, Virginia Muerte and Margaret La Blanca, their friends Darryl Rubio, Ronnie Mulatto, Euridice La Negra, Louis, Jaime Espana and Manny Elindio Todopoderoso. It deals with Christian guilt, the effects of colonization, incest and the one universal constant we cant escape: our mortality. All of the characters are at points in their lives where they have to make serious choices. Robert is consumed by a secret life style and is troubled by his younger brothers associations. The conflict comes to a head when Darryl convinces Ronnie that the only way they are going to make names for themselves is by taking to the way of the streets and climbing up the ranks of crime. Kenny wants no part of it. Darryl manages to set Kenny up for a downfall. Robert and his friends band together to get Kenny out this life threatening situation and all the characters finally realize that it takes an urgent act to wake them from cruising through life on auto pilot. Scattered Limbs is an urban allegory shot on digital video and Super 16.
